Detailed Global Model (DGM) provides theoretical characterization of electric thrusters used currently in the space allowing for disrupting improvements.
DGMs developed by DEDALOS allow for theoretical characterization and description of all states of the thruster functioning and so provide a preview of the thruster properties and evaluation of the expected thrust. Moreover, DGMs constitute a powerful tool for study of the thruster erosion and of its overall diagnostics. In so doing, data concerning the sputtered species must also be included in the model.

Experimental validations have also been made available.
